How to Write a Case Study for Your Business Growth

HOW TO MAKE A CASE STUDY FOR YOUR BUSINESS

If done right, business case studies can have a huge effect on your marketing. Although it takes more time and energy to make, they can be a stellar strategy for attracting new customers to your company. Business Case Study helps you win new customers.

Sadly, many people aren’t sure how to proceed when it is time for them to write a copy.

Sure, when it comes to Y, you could say you’re great at X, or that you’re way ahead of the competition. Yet at the end of the day, it’s cold, hard proof that you really need to win new customers.

What is a Case Study?

A case study is a piece of content written by a company that describes its performance or failure in coping with a client. This is widely used as a marketing component and can be incredibly useful.

In professional settings, telling the story of a good business relationship between a company and a client is normal for a case study.

How You  Write a Business Case Study?

Identify the optimal data source

Once it comes to writing a case study you must have to pick from several cases. Choose a case with significant challenges and that has a good satisfying solution.

Contact the candidate seeking permission to write about them

However, most importantly at this point is having the approval of your subject(candidate). Offer them the purpose and structure of the case study when first reaching out to your case study applicant— all of which you would have come up with in the first two steps above.

Make a draft and send your subject a case study release form

A case study release form explains what you’ll need from your chosen candidate, such as permission to use any brand names and share details about the project publicly. Start this process with an email going through exactly what they should expect from you, and what you need from them. Get some idea by checking templates.

Make sure you ask the right questions

Actually, a successful case study simply benefits from  asking the right questions. How do those look? Here are a few examples to start you off:

  • What are the goals?
  • problems have you faced before you purchased our product or service?
  • What differentiated our product or service among our competitors?
  • How has it felt like the decision-making process?
  • Why did you get the advantage of using our product or service?
  • Would you recommend this to others?

Finish the case study with all of your relevant contact information

Because a case study is planned for the distribution of presses, it should be fitted with your contact information. It will allow other businesses, clients, and more to contact you about the case study. Thus, it will help make the information in it more available to others.

Many sources, including your phone number, website, email, and one or two social accounts, along with a brief bio, should be included in a case study.
